Game of lines – Hervé Tullet’s Jeu de Lignes

I bet that in any art gallery or museum book store with a children’s sector I will find at least one book by Hervé Tullet.

The French illustrator and author is making art related children’s books for over 20 years and even though many of his various publications are well-thought and -done, the silent book “Jeu de lignes”/”The Game of Lines” (PHAIDON, 2015) stands out. The simple yet unusual die cuts that allow to play with different line directions while turning the pages plus the WOW-effect of just pink and yellow make this one of my favorite early-concept books – for all ages.
